HIGHSCHOOL FUNKIES

I don't know how this is coming up😅,it just popped up.I swear 😅😅😅. Honestly kids in highschool after Corona hit will never understand how fun funkies were. Yaani it was the ultimate school function(Funkiee💃🏽💃🏽🥳🥳🥳). Everyone in school yearned it. Bookwarmers,student leaders who made our lives a living hell in school,hell even teachers wanted to go. I still can't grasp how carefree they were during them funkies😅😅.One time our principal just winged it when we were at a funkie at a children's home and decided to take us on a detour to Uganda.

But I have to give it to you,the best funkies were when a bunch of different schools came together for clubs,games and the mother of all  was definitely Drama festivals,eeeeeh people pulled out their best uniform pieces for this na kama huna ni kuomba😅😅😅.

After night preps when the list of the lucky chosen ones and a few fellas with connections 😅😅😅was posted,the whole school would be on this crazy fuzzy buzz, ata watu hawaendi wako na furaha cause they get to send cheeky letters to either their boyfriends or friends in other schools.

Then there were this funkies that ended up with fellas doing heavy punishments over the week because of how rogue they went.Back in the day watu walikua mischievous AF and some few horny individuals😅😅. Okay,one time during an inning,(this is when your school hosted other schools for a function)the  funkie went completely,insanely rogue that an entire club was disbanded. Everyone was tested for pregnancy and aki it shocked our teachers that not even one person tested positive and then almost immediately we started testing paraffin in our beans. When the Dinning Hall captain launched a complaint about it to our principal,she was just like,"its for those heightened hormones of yours girls. Trust us it'll be good not walk around this halls with someone kicking you in the tummy."🤦🏽‍♀️😅.

Here is a little snippet of back in the day,honestly just go google high school funkies😅😅😅,thank me later.

Then there was this time during a show ground funkie,guys decided leo tunarudi shule waters,we are burning thoroughly and guess what? we are bringing some take away for everyone who will want some ,the mission was, well unfortunately unsuccessful. Information somehow caught the attention of the teachers with us on the funkie. You know how information could spread fast in school. Those who weren't even at the funkie already had info😅😅.The bus was suddenly halted in the middle of nowhere. Sasa drama was the dumb(effective)alcohol test they had us doing. You try frog jumping drunk😂😂😂while saying out loud how many fingers are being held in front of you,tell me how it feels to fall head first.😅

Alafu kuna sisi wenye our parents shipped us to schools outside Nairobi. Closing day and opening day travelling days were also some sort of funkie,I won't even begin to reveal the stunts we pulled😅 ,story for another day. But I will tell you this,it always ended with suspension and or expulsion.
