MY MISTLETOE TO YOU ♥️🎄🎊

I have to say,this month of December has me feeling so filled. Filled with love, filled with joy that surpasses even my understanding. Mambo ya mungo aki🙈. I'm filled with an overwhelming sense of happiness,with thanksgiving. I am content and undoubtedly not forgetting how fully filled I feel in my stomach. Our girl naa chop😂shaaa. Merry merriest Christmas Fam🎅🏽.

On Friday The 24th I was travelling at night and honestly I kind of have been missing Christmas as a kid. It reminded me of way simpler times when the littlest of gestures left me happy enough to last the next Christmas. Our parents. God bless your hearts and pockest manze. So this guys did and still do the most. They would always plan for most of the extended family to travel together all through the day and into the night, they made sure to extend the whole thing,you know,give us a real treat. So most times we'd  have this stop overs. They'd  take us to visit our favourite familiar places. Most of my cousins loved activities,sana sana swimming,we'd do that and after we'd always spend atleast a few hours visiting a new eat out. Sisi tunegekula after tumetoka kukula😅.

Everyone's a food hog kwetu and we enjoy good food.Give us all the stakes,all the  ribs and drumsticks,breasts,thighs. I'm talking about chicken😅. We never say no to anything roasted,deep fried or fried. Actually food to make it clear. Its for the culture✊🏾,mhhh,not really,I'm just a foodie honestly😋.

So all my cousins and I ended up in one Van . This particular van our parents always hired,it resembled a minibus and  had a good number of really comfy seats. We always sidelined the little one's to the front seats,it was a rite of passage for us just as every generation before us. I mean It's traditions and traditions are hardly broken. Well the good one's atleast🤷🏾‍♀️. On the way we'd shop for all kinds of snacks and litu bitings🍔. Eating seemed like the main agenda😅. It was.

We'd jam to our favourite songs and play lots of games in the car. One time we tried hide and seek one time and  it turned out to look like a prank.Our driver thought he left us at our last stop because while we were busy hiding,obviously under the sits. He always checked his rear view mirror every once in a while,and when he didn't see anyone he pulled over,alighted and came around,opened the door only to find us seated,staring at him with confused faces making him think he was tripping.He was so cofused he had to ask us tukifika if he was tripping😅 😅.

The best part though was the never having to worry about paying the bills. Actually thinking of it  we was the bills😂. I have to say though,the festive season as an adult isn't that bad either. Especially when there's all the  beverages you can drink . No wonder our uncles and aunts plus the older cousins were in a great mood all through the holidays.
